Full contest rules (English)

Version 3 · October 24, 2026. Rules and deadline unchanged.

1. ORGANISER AND SCOPE

Gaming Jungle organises The first Global Halloween Hunt. Contact: Tom Buyens, tom@marketingforheroes.com. Official challenge ID: rci5RFVyohqiamgJZvFM. Version 3, October 24, 2026: the existing challenge is renamed, entry is expanded beyond Flanders and the deadline is extended to Los Angeles time. Existing registrations and valid scores are retained. This is an independent Gaming Jungle activity, not an official parade or city-organiser partnership.

2. ENTRY AND ELIGIBILITY

Entry is free; no purchase, subscription, social share or marketing consent is required. Players worldwide may enter where participation and receipt of the prize are permitted by local law. Use one personal Gaming Jungle account on a compatible iPhone or Android phone. Minors require parent or guardian permission and must meet the app and applicable local age requirements; where necessary a guardian handles the prize claim. The organiser and anyone directly administering this competition are ineligible for the cash prize. Joining through the official link after signing in registers you automatically, without organiser approval. Installing the app alone is not entry.

3. DEADLINE

The challenge opened October 23, 2026. Your eligible catches count only after your recorded registration. The deadline is October 31, 2026 at 23:59:59 in America/Los_Angeles: PDT, UTC-7 on that date. This is November 1 at 06:59:59 UTC and 07:59:59 Belgian time. The entire final second counts: the exclusive server cutoff is 2026-11-01T07:00:00.000Z. This is one worldwide deadline, not midnight in each player's local time zone. Play online and wait for server confirmation. Actions received after the cutoff do not count.

4. SCORING AND PRIZE

The eligible player with the highest valid challenge score wins one prize of EUR 100. Each public, active monster counts once per player after registration, at its configured points value. Practice, private or test placements, and earlier profile XP are excluded. All qualifying public locations worldwide count; there is no parade-only restriction and no guarantee of identical monster availability in every city. Ties are decided by who first reached the final score according to server records, then by earliest challenge registration. An exact remaining tie is reviewed against the recorded events; there is no random draw. Normal XP and medals are separate from the cash prize.

5. FAIR AND SAFE PLAY

GPS spoofing, bots, manipulated requests, shared accounts and multiple accounts used to influence the result are prohibited. Suspected abuse is investigated using recorded evidence; only substantiated corrections are applied and documented. Players may be asked for clarification. Respect traffic, closures, opening hours, private property and event staff. Never enter a road or closed area, cross a barrier or block an entrance to reach a monster. Skip a location when it is crowded or unsafe.

6. RESULT VERIFICATION

The organiser retains a leaderboard evidence image and a Firebase snapshot of scores, registration and catch records. The image is generated from the captured evidence; it is not a screenshot of the mobile app. The server cutoff controls eligibility even if capture or processing finishes later. A second check after processing compares the final scores with valid events and checks duplicate catches, timing, excluded organisers and anomalies. Matching database totals alone are not proof of physical gameplay. Account, eligibility and fair play are reviewed before a winner is confirmed.

7. CONTACT AND PAYMENT

The provisional winner is contacted privately through the account email on November 1, 2026. Reply by November 3 at 23:59:59 Belgian time. Only the provisional winner is asked privately for the account-holder name and bank-transfer details: IBAN where applicable, otherwise the details needed for a lawful international transfer. Age, residence and guardian consent may be checked where relevant. Never post bank details on the leaderboard. EUR 100 is paid by November 7, 2026 after a timely response and successful verification. Any necessary lawful alternative payment arrangement is agreed privately. No fee, purchase, password, PIN or bank login is requested to claim the prize. If the candidate declines, is ineligible or does not reply in time, the next eligible player is contacted with a stated response deadline.

8. PRIVACY

Only the winner's leaderboard nickname is announced, not their real name, email or bank details. Choose a nickname you are comfortable publishing. Bank details are requested only from the provisional winner and are never stored in public leaderboard documents. Competition data is used for organisation, verification, contact and payment, not automatic marketing subscription. Private competition evidence is retained for no more than 90 days after the end unless a dispute or applicable retention requirement requires longer. Normal game-account data retention is unchanged. Privacy policy: https://gamingjungle.com/privacy-policy/ . Questions or objections: tom@marketingforheroes.com.

9. PLATFORM INDEPENDENCE AND CHANGES

This promotion is organised by Gaming Jungle, not Apple, Google, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube or any parade organiser. Eligibility is subject to applicable local rules; this document is not a guarantee that a cash competition is lawful in every jurisdiction. A substantiated technical problem is investigated against server records and any necessary measures are communicated transparently. Rules are not silently changed during play. The name, eligibility expansion and deadline extension in this version were made before any participant score was recorded.
